Jeff Atmajian is a highly sought after arranger and orchestrator for films. His regular clientele are well-known and highly successful composers such as James Newton Howard, Marc Shaiman, Rachel Portman and Gabriel Yared.

Born and Raised in Fresno, CA in 1960, Jeff began private classical piano lessons at the age of 8 and by 15 he was also studying traditional jazz piano and progressive (modern) jazz piano.

In 1984 he graduated from California State University, Fresno with a BA in Composition before moving to LA where he graduated from the University of Southern California in 1985, having read Special Studies for Film Scoring.

Over the last few years Jeff has been pursuing a high profile composing career, his feature film orchestration credits including Oscar nominated scores for The American President (1995), Chocolat (2000), The Village (2004) and many more. He recently scored the 90 minute documentary ‘Screamers’,  a film about the Armenian genocide.


In 2005 he composed, produced and was musical director for the large-scale stage production ‘Creation’, which featured a 76 piece orchestra, ethnic music and songs for soloists and choir.

From 1987 to the present Jeff has lived and worked between Los Angeles and London.
