

Damian Montagu is a composer and music producer. He attained an Arts degree from UEA before working in television (LWT and Planet 24) and marketing for four years.
He then embarked on a career as a composer and music producer, co-founding Montagu Bourcier in 1997, which quickly became one of London's leading composition and sound design companies. Montagu Bourcier worked with the world's leading agencies and production houses, and scored music on over one hundred and fifty brand campaigns.
His film scores include 'The Cookie Thief' (Palme d'Or nominated) and 'Subterrain', which was a collaboration with Michael Nyman, together with award winning films such as 'Football' (staring Helena Bonham-Carter). Documentary scores include The South Bank Show, Geo (a 20 part series) and 'The Science of Beauty', to name a few.
He has worked with top directors including Paul Arden, Daniel Barber, Roman Coppola, David Kellogg, Dominic Murphy, Gore Verbinsky and Will Van der Vlugt.
In 2007, he produced an album project for Katkhuda, a new solo project for Damian Katkhuda, founder of the band Obi and recently played keyboard with the band at the Bestival event on the Isle of Wight.
In 2007, with Christian Banfield and David Hill, Damian formed World Awareness Recordings, a project set up to highlight the causes of HIV and AIDS.
Also in 2006, together with David Hill, Damian formed Radial.
